HELP WITH GAMES, PLEASE!!!

I’ve been having problems with games, lately I’ve tried to play some (The Kid at the Back, Blue Project, A Date with Death and some more), everything seems fine, but when I click on the game it opens the Joiplay loading page and after a few seconds it closes
I tried uninstalling and reinstalling Joiplay and the others that are needed to be able to enter these games, I also used different zips (mac and pc) but nothing works, it always opens and closes
For some reason, Mushroom Oasis and Fruition worked perfectly (?) I don’t understand

I’ve been trying renpys from different versions and I managed to play one of the games I wanted (mushroom oasis and fruition worked the first time before I tried other versions. Project blue i could play too btw) but apparently date w death and tkatb I still haven’t found the “right version”

How do you know which renpy version was used? I would like to find out by myself without asking for help the next time I want to play a game
