Game build: OMORI v1.0.8 (8879120)
Summary: Multiple errors encountered when trying to run OMORI. These errors result in game unable to boot. There are some fixes to prevent issues.

Details:

Error: Uncaught Error: readFileSync: Failed to read /www/js/plugins/JoiMV.OMORI
Cause: JoiPlay plugins are not being excluded from game decryption process
Fix: online/local patch

Error: Uncaught Error: readFile: Failed to read OMORI/CUTSCENE.json
Cause: game issue, it’s trying to read a file it didn’t create
Reference: /www/js/plugins/GTP_OmoriFixes.js
Fix: either patch/override the script, or add the required file (the latter was easier for me)

Error: Uncaught Error: Java exception was raised during method invocation (line 37291 of nwjsapi.js)
Cause: NWJSAPI’s loadYAML method fails to handle YAML files that lack actual data and consist only of comments
Fix: temporary local patch, the method itself should probably be fixed
